COVID-19 Statement

Following the Government’s revised instructions as to how we are all to behave during this ongoing crisis, we provide an update for our valued customers and partners.

All of our projects are open and continuing to operate as efficiently as possible, closely following updated UK Government, Public Health England and Construction Leadership Council guidance. We review and update our guidance and site operating procedures immediately following the receipt of revised official guidance. Our people, especially our site teams, are doing a sterling job in exceptional circumstances, doing their utmost to keep everyone on our projects safe. We have continued to introduce new ways of working which operatives and supervisors within our supply chain are following well, and we are achieving reasonable levels of productivity. I am very proud of the creativity, enthusiasm and hard work going into ensuring that everyone is safe.

One of our key challenges has been obtaining materials, and there are continuing signs of easing in that regard with more and more suppliers and, critically, manufacturers opening.

We are very much open for business and are busily tendering new projects.

Our management team continues meeting regularly to review and refine our strategy as necessary. It is our intention to continue to operate as efficiently as the situation allows. We have detailed plans in place as to how each individual should now operate, be that remotely from home, on site, at our offices or at any essential meetings that are required. Being agile, creative and working strictly to governmental guidance in looking after our people and our supply chain will enable us to ensure that we come through this challenge even stronger.
